Visit Rwanda Golf Tournament 2023

The Visit Rwanda Golf Tournament Dubai 2023 took place at Dubai Hills Golf Club on February 25, 2023. CEO Clubs had the honor of organizing this tournament which was participated by 44 golfers from Rwanda and UAE.

The golf tournament’s aim was to boost tourism in Kigali, particularly its modern golf course in Rwanda and boost tourism influx between Dubai and Rwanda.

RDB Chief Executive, Clare Akamanzi, inaugurated the tournament. H.E. Emmanuel Hategeka, the Ambassador of Rwanda, headed the list of competitive golfers who are senior executives and business leaders from the UAE and Rwanda. This event was generously sponsored by Rwanda Development Board (RDB), RwandAir Ltd, One & Only Resorts and CNBC.

CEO Clubs would also like to thank Emirates Neon Group for their invaluable support in this golf tournament.

The Visit Rwanda private dinner event at Palazzo Versace Dubai, was the culmination of Rwanda’s business forums and investment roadshows in the UAE.

The Hon. Clare Akamanzi, CEO of Rwanda Development Board (RDB), invited UAE citizens and residents to visit Rwanda, the land of a thousand hills.

Ms. Linda Mutesi, Head of Tourism Marketing of RDB shared the VisitRwanda presentation which highlighted Rwanda’s stunning sceneries, life-changing safaris, magnificent gorillas and their captivating national parks.

The winners of the golf tournament were also awarded during the event. H.E. Emmanuel Hategeka, the Ambassador of Rwanda, congratulated them and encouraged those who didn’t win an award to have their winning moment in Kigali, Rwanda on the next leg of the tournament in the future.
